Total Pipetting Solution Selection Guide

The TPS-24 (with 24 pipetting channels), the TPS-96 (with 96 pipetting channels) or the TPS-384 series (with 384 pipetting channels) can be used for 96 or 384 well plates. This is allowed by Apricot's unique interchangeable head system. The "pipetting head" does not include the pipetting mechanism itself so not only are the heads inexpensive and easy to change, but you can build a "library" of heads that allow a variety of applications to be performed on a single pipettor.

The TPS-24 is an inexpensive solution that is ideally suited to performing serial dilutions by row or column on 96 or 384 well plates. It can also be programmed for other applications such as pipetting to 96 and 384 well plates or even plate replication, although the speed will not be as fast as a 96 or 384 channel model.

The TPS-96, when configured with the proper head, can be used for virtually any task on 96 or 384 well plates, including plate reformatting, plate replication, and serial dilutions.

The TPS-384 can also perform plate reformatting, plate replication, and serial dilutions, and offers the fastest performance for 384-to-384 plate replication or pipetting to 384-well plates.
