AD-192 Argon Dispenser

The AD-192 offers a convenient method of applying an argon blanket on top of compound storage tube racks prior to capping or sealing. The AD-192 version can process two racks simultaneously.

AD-192

The AD-192 has two needle assemblies, each consists of 96 individual stainless steel needles that evenly distribute argon gas into the tube racks from the top. The bottom part of the instrument is connected to a vacuum source in order to capture excess argon for operator safety.

The AD-192 works with 1.4 ml or 0.5 ml storage tubes (with spacer). The manual elevator is used to raise the tubes to the desired height and then locked into place.

The operator enters a preset time for argon dispensing. When the elevator is raised and locked, the AD-192 automatically begins dispensing argon into the tubes, and the vacuum is activated for operator protection. THe vacuum is programmed to run for a user-set time after the argon as stopped flowing for further protection.
